Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Valid and current Physical Therapist license appropriate for school-based practice
• Certification as a PT required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ needs to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct physical therapy interventions to facilitate access to curriculum and promote mobility, participation, and independence
• Consult with educators and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
• Maintain thorough, compliant records of progress, assessments, and communications
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students receiving PT services
• Travel between assigned school sites as necessary
