Senior Accountant (General Ledger)

Our client, a growing publicly traded company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support high-volume month-end close activities within a fast-paced corporate accounting environment. This role plays a key part in managing accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes while driving operational efficiencies and process improvements across the accounting function. Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities Manage month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals within Support recurring operational accrual processes and collaborate with FP&A and reporting teams to meet close deadlines Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results Identify and implement process improvements, including optimizing Excel workbooks, enhancing formulas, and automating manual processes where possible Create and improve accounting documentation and workflows to support efficient preparation and review processes Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and support operational initiatives Support high-volume general ledger accounting activities in a deadline-driven environment Proactively identify issues, communicate updates effectively, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the accounting team Qualifications Strong general ledger accounting and month-end close experience within a public company environment or prior public audit experience Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated ability to improve processes and streamline workflows Experience managing high-volume reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments #J-18808-Ljbffr Sayva Solutions
