From Mission Mondays, where 10% of our net proceeds go directly to local charitable organizations, to our long-standing partnership with Coprodeli USA, in which we are in the process of building 22 schools for impoverished communities in Peru, we are committed to giving back in meaningful ways to those in need.Position OverviewThe Assistant Store Leader of Guest Engagement leads and supports the Store Leader by directing activities required to achieve all store goals, including best of class guest service, sales objectives, operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation, while driving both associate and guest engagement. You will provide guests with exceptional service, through relationship building, product knowledge, and presenting a clean, well-maintained store environment. Guest Engagement Leaders drive excellence and provide leadership in all aspects of the store with a special focus on development of associates and the guest experience.PeopleFosters a guest-focused team environment through driving volume and anticipating guest needsAchieves excellent guest service by role-modeling company service standardsProactively provides timely feedback to associates, rewards and recognizes performance to drive retentionHolds self and associates accountable for achievement of financial results and performance standardsManages conflict and coaches by applying company’s recommended processes, standards and guidelinesEmpowers and involves associates in decision-making processesReceives feedback and fosters dialog around solutionsDevelops associates through an individualized approach by matching talent with tasks, delegating, and challenging on resultsFosters team commitment through support, relationship building, and recognizing individual contributionsLeads by managing through change and adversityMakes recommendations on hiring, promotions, and terminations of team members based on performanceCo-conducts and facilitates sales associate and keyholder trainingProcessEngages our guests and make their shopping experience exceptionalMakes recommendations on hiring, promotions, and terminations of team members based on performanceCoaches to Guest Engagement expectationsManages Mission Monday partnership and events“Butterfly” (manager on duty) – on the floor at all times with zones covered at all timesEnsures the fitting room experience is exceptional – outfitting and stylingManages product communication and all product information postedManages and executes building guest book / logsLeads new associate on-boardingCo-leads floor set and refresh strategyCo-manages payroll and store’s financial performanceMakes decisions regarding store operations and planningControls workflow through successful planning and delegationExecutes task directives within designated time framesAdheres to loss prevention practices and reports potential incidents to ensure shortage control in order to protect Company assetsCommunicates effectively with executive teamMust be able to lift and carry heavy boxes (up to 30 lbs.)PresentationUtilizes and manages the use of weekly reporting to track, analyze and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize salesCo-manages the implementation and/or delegation of all weekly operational and visual objectivesLeads associate education on all associate training to ensure consistency in visual excellenceMaintains an awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicate with teamEffectively communicates merchandise performance observations and offer feedback to the Store Leadership TeamQualifications1 year Retail ManagementBachelor’s Degree preferredPhysical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and / or squatting frequently. May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location.
