Accounts Payable Analyst

Accounts Payable Analyst (6+ Month Temp to Perm) Industry: E-Commerce / Luxury Jewelry Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Pay Rate: $25-$28/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (1-hour lunch, 40 hrs/week) Start Date: ASAP A fast-paced e-commerce and luxury jewelry company is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst for a 6+ month temporary role, with strong potential for extension. This position is covering for a departing team member and will report directly to the AP Manager. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a high-volume environment, and is ready to hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities:

- Process and track 300-400 invoices weekly
- Pull and format AP data from SAP for invoice approvals and reporting
- Assist with weekly payment runs and cash requirement reporting
- Review invoices for coding accuracy, proper approvals, and supporting documentation
- Investigate and resolve vendor payment inquiries and invoice discrepancies
- Support AP reconciliations, aging reports, month-end close, and accrual processes
- Maintain vendor records including W-9s, W-8BENs, and banking information
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments on AP-related needs
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and operational projects as needed
- 1+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- SAP experience required
- Advanced Excel skills - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and XLOOKUPs required
- Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice processing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and cross-functional collaboration
- Quick learner who adapts well to a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overtime during peak seasons
