Wound Care Nurse

Location: Murphysboro, IL Shift: Days Time Type: Full-Time Facility/Clinic Name: St. Joseph Memorial Hospital

Position Summary: Responsible for care and management of patients with wounds/ostomies Education: Associate Degree RN

Licenses and Certification: IL licensed RN BLS

Experience and Skills: Technical Experience: 2 years RN; Wound Care Experience not required, but preferred.

Role Specific Responsibilities: Provides case management to a group of patients completing specific assessments according to evidence based practice/ protocols, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient/caregiver education related to wound and/or ostomy care/treatment. Provides efficient and effective care in collaboration with the physician and is able to manage a number of patients at the same time Collaborates with other health care providers, Supervisors, Managers, Physicians, and Directors, regarding department and patient needs.

Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $31.25 - $49.06
