The Houston office offers the close-knit culture of a smaller team combined with the resources, stability, and career development opportunities of a large, respected firm.Job DescriptionOrganize and maintain case files, including managing electronic and physical records.Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and other legal documents.Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery requests.Coordinate and manage case schedules, including deadlines and court appearances.Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.Review and summarize legal documents, depositions, and trial transcripts.Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining billing records and tracking case expenses.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
