Raines has maintained a family-oriented culture that believes in building relationships with our associates, with our partners and within the communities where we operate.We offer comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision benefits, 401K, a generous PTO program, and the opportunity to join a winning culture recognized for rewarding our best with opportunities to advance their career within the company.Essential Job FunctionsMaintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working.Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.Maintain organized and accurate filing system on all accounts, including complete file on each active, prospective or buying account, and trace file for future activities.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with service standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.Comply with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Keep immediate supervisor informed of all matters requiring their attention.Correspond with prospects and clients and answer any questions about the hotel’s venue options, rates, room types, packages or promotions.Send proposals and/or invoices accurately, timely and professionally.Perform research functions on competitive hotels, venues, clients, trends and prospects.Gather and assemble sales collateral and correspond with clients.Enter, retrieve or reconcile rooming lists, event orders or other information in customer relationship management systems.Previous hotel, hospitality, sales, event, or customer service experience preferredEvent planning or event coordination experience is a plusStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional, friendly, and outgoing personalityAbility to multitask and manage multiple events and clients at onceComfortable working independently and as part of a teamProficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systemsMarriott experience is a plus, but not requiredSchedule RequirementsThis position requires flexibility and a willingness to work weekends and assist with events outside of traditional Monday–Friday business hours.Weekend and evening availability will be necessary based on group events, weddings, meetings, and hotel business needs.Experience and Education:Experience in administrative functions, telephone, email and filing systemsExperience with Delphi FDC, Sales Pro, brand's PMS and/or sales related applications a plusProficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applicationsMinimum High School Diploma or EquivalentAssociate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferredRaines is proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer.
