Accounting Specialist

Job Description Financial Additions is partnering with a growing logistics company in the Arlington area to identify an experienced Accounting Specialist. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong payroll, accounts payable, and reconciliation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process and maintain accurate payroll data entry Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and vendor payments Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Analyze payroll and billing records for errors, inconsistencies, and needed corrections Process and monitor employee garnishments Set up and maintain employee direct deposit information Assist with maintaining accurate employee and vendor records in accounting systems Support financial reporting and general accounting operations as needed Communicate effectively with internal teams, employees, vendors, and customers regarding accounting inquiries Qualifications 2+ years of accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping experience preferred Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) required Strong knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation Experience handling garnishments and payroll deductions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Preferred Experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution environments is a plus but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
