Advanced Glass Solutions is one of the fastest-growing commercial glazing contractors in Texas, specializing in storefront, curtain wall, entrances, impact systems, glass, and architectural metals. With in-house fabrication capabilities and a strong reputation for execution, we are looking for a high-performing Senior Estimator who can help drive continued growth.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an estimator who can:

Sell work

Build and maintain GC relationships

Follow up relentlessly on bids

Communicate professionally with customers

Identify value engineering opportunities

Understand glazing systems and constructability

Turn opportunities into awarded projects

The ideal candidate understands both the technical and sales side of estimating.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial glazing projects

Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents

Perform quantity takeoffs for storefront, curtain wall, doors, glass, and miscellaneous glazing systems

Develop pricing from vendors and subcontractors

Understand and recommend Kawneer, Oldcastle, and other system options

Identify value engineering opportunities to improve competitiveness

Maintain ongoing communication with general contractors throughout the bidding process

Follow up on bids and actively pursue awards

Participate in bid strategy discussions with management

Assist with project handoff after award

Requirements

Commercial glazing estimating experience required

Strong understanding of storefront, curtain wall, entrances, and glazing systems

Knowledge of glass types, performance requirements, and system limitations

Ability to read construction documents and specifications

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Self-motivated and results-driven
