Chief Financial Officer

As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business growth. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, vehicle operations/fleet management, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, and maintaining fiscal stability. Key Responsibilities Manage the company’s financial operations with a continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic objectives. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Establish and maintain strong relationships with Senior Executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions. Lead and mentor the finance team to maintain high performance and professional growth. Optimize cost structures and improve financial efficiency across all operations. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Manage and improve cash flow to support operations and growth. Oversee accounts receivable (AR) including tracking payments, collecting outstanding debts, submitting Payment Applications, and reviewing and executing Lien Waivers for customers. Assist with vendor relations and oversee the Accounts Payable process. Manage the company’s corporate insurance program, including but not limited to, Commercial General Liability, Commercial Property, Workers’ Compensation, and Commercial Auto Insurance. Oversee Licensing for business licenses and trade credentials across various local and state jurisdictions. Qualifications and Requirements BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable 10+ years in financial leadership roles. Limited Relocation Available.
