Assembly Technician

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools, small power tools, torque wrenches, and other manufacturing tools in line with work instructions for the job being performed.

• Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, schematic diagrams, and related documentation to complete work accurately and efficiently.

• Perform inspections and tests on assemblies to verify conformance to quality and performance requirements.

• Execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and perform acceptance testing on assemblies as required.

• Perform rework on assemblies resulting from test failures in accordance with standard repair practices and procedures.

• Support major production assignments, including SDB wing assembly, and assist other programs as needed.

• Assist with packaging of completed assemblies and products as required.

• Work under direct supervision on routine assignments, applying moderate judgment and following established procedures.

• Maintain a consistent focus on efficiency and quality, ensuring work meets required standards and passes regular checks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
