Job Description The Office of Student Engagement and Campus Center is seeking a student for employment. This position is funded by the University. All undergraduate students looking for employment are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Assist with the operation of the Information Desk Provide friendly quality customer service to patrons Provide patrons information to the correct and appropriate resource through clerical duties such as answering phones and emails Maintain a clean, organized and professional appearance to the desk Keep the brochure rack clean and stocked Update the Rave Alert system with faculty absences and class cancellations, as necessary Strong computer and typing/record-keeping skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Stamp and distribute posters around Hammond Other duties as assigned Shift Information Employees should expect to work at least 8, but no more than 20 hours per week at $15.00 per hour.
