Job Description The Office of Student Engagement is seeking a student for employment. The position is funded by the University. All undergraduate students looking for employment are welcome to apply. The Campus Center, housed within Hammond Hall, has been student‑run since 1977 and has grown significantly over the past four decades. Many changes have been made as the needs of our students change and grow. This building, however, still serves its original purpose and offers itself as a place where students can spend time socializing and expanding outside the classroom. Hammond Hall houses everything from the Office of Student Engagement and services for students to the Gallucci‑Cirio Library and the North Street Bistro. The Student Engagement Social Media Assistant, as part of the Hammond Campus Center Student Staff, is responsible for consulting with staff members and student organizations to produce a social media campaign for the Office of Student Engagement. They will create content from our office, using Instagram, TikTok, and any other platforms that help market our programs and services. Requirements Proficiency with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Produce professional quality social media content for the Office of Student Development Communicate professionally and effectively with students and professional staff Work autonomously, and at times remotely, producing materials weekly Attend Hammond Campus Center trainings and staff meetings as scheduled Perform other duties as assigned Additional Information Shift Information: Employees should expect to work at least 8, but no more than 20, hours per week. Hourly rate is $15.00. This position is a student employment position; all applicants are requested to apply online utilizing the Fitchburg State jobsite to be considered an active candidate.
