FSU Undergraduate Student Employment -Commuter Affairs

Job Description The Office of Student Engagement and Campus Center is seeking a student for employment. This position is funded by the University. All undergraduate students looking for employment are welcome to apply. Below are the specific duties and responsibilities. Responsibilities Assist in the operations of Commuter Affairs by providing clerical duties, answering phones and emails, and providing friendly customer service to patrons. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance in the office/lounge. Provide opportunities, awareness, and promotion of existing services and advocate for the implementation of additional services. Assist in the assessment, collaboration, planning, promotion, and implementation of events and services pertaining to commuter students. Assist with the creation and distribution of outreach materials, encouraging commuter student involvement. Manage lockers and their assignments. Establish positive relationships with commuter students, staff members, and the University community. Demonstrate good computer and typing skills, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills. Requirements Good computer and typing skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Additional Information Employees should expect to work at least 8, but no more than 20 hours per week. Hourly rate is $15.00.
