Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to develop effective treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
\n
• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops to promote community engagement and support.
\n
• Maintain thorough documentation and case notes in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for record-keeping.
\n
• Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and alignment with treatment goals.
\n
• Stay current with the latest developments in mental health practices and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
\n
• Manage a caseload while ensuring each client receives timely and effective interventions.
\n
• Provide telehealth services as well as in-person session options from our business office as needed.

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Emphasizing cultural competency, our practice is dedicated to respecting and addressing the unique needs and customs of each family we serve. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current LMFT license, active and unrestricted.
\n
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills to provide bilingual psychotherapy services effectively.
\n
• A minimum of two years’ experience working in a mental health environment, particularly with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work respectfully with individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
\n
• Exhibit a strong commitment to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Proficient in using EHR software, Microsoft Office, and various digital tools for remote therapy.
\n
• A valid driver's license and car insurance to facilitate in-person appointments as necessary.
\n
• Ability to work at least two evenings weekly and one weekend day.
\n
• Demonstrated empathy, capacity for self-examination, and active listening skills.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training in therapeutic methodologies such as CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, or other recognized modalities.

• Experience developing areas of specialization, for example in trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.
\n
• Previous experience providing telehealth services and participating in insurance panels as an in-network provider.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The anticipated salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
