What You’ll Do Lead and mentor a team of strategists, fostering a culture of rigorous analysis and continuous learning while evolving the team’s operating model to ensure insights flow seamlessly into executive decision-making Systematically scan the horizon to identify and unlock new market opportunities, including potential new business lines, product categories, and geographic expansions Translate complex research and market data into crisp, compelling narratives and strategic frameworks for Executive and Board-level discussions Lead the annual and long-range strategic planning process, turning our bold company vision into a clear, actionable roadmap that guides the entire organization Track the execution of the strategic plan and key performance indicators (KPIs), acting as the central hub of accountability and proactively recommending adjustments to stay on course Partner with the Consumer Insights team, tasked with deep-dive market research, competitor intelligence, and user experience research, to provide the actionable insights that will shape our most critical strategic decisions Partner cross-functionally with leaders across the organization to bridge the gap between high-level strategy and operational execution, ensuring our most important initiatives are set up for success Proactively identify and evaluate inorganic growth initiatives, including potential M&A, strategic partnerships, and business cases that align with our long-term vision and customer needs Who You Are Backed by 11+ years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or corporate development A strategic visionary who can connect disparate dots into a coherent view of long-term value creation A seasoned communicator and storyteller who can influence senior stakeholders through structured thinking and clear, empathetic communication A proactive leader who thrives in ambiguity, balancing a high-level strategic mindset with a willingness to dive into the details of execution An expert at people development, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and helping others navigate complex business landscapes Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) Extra Credit Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, or luxury and retail industries Familiarity with strategic foresight methodologies and applying future-oriented thinking to high-growth environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Warby Parker
