Reporting Associate, Personal CFO Services

The Atlanta office is looking for a Reporting Associate, Personal CFO Services to join our growing family office team which provides daily accounting, financial administration and other family offices services for a diverse group of high-net-worth clients. The Reporting Associate, Personal CFO Services, is a key member of the Reporting Team within the Personal CFO department. This role is responsible for the accounting and record-keeping of our clients' financial activities, including their ownership structures, investment portfolios, and partnership interests. The Reporting Associate will prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring a clear and comprehensive financial view for ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of the client financial statements, including accounting for and reporting on investments, real estate, boats, planes, and other assets.
• Preparation of various schedules for client meetings and creating client presentations.
• Ensure that the clients' Accounting and Financial Reporting needs are being met in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheets, income statements, cash flows and other analytical reports.
• Prepare monthly closing journal entries to produce monthly balance and income statements.
• Reconcile credit card and bank account activity.
• Reconcile brokerage statements and record investment activity.
• Research and resolve issues or discrepancies with clients' accounts.
• Liaison with advisors, vendors, tax preparers and clients timely to provide extraordinary proactive client service.
• Complete special client projects of a complex nature.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
• 2+ years or related experience. Public accounting, family office, high net worth tax preparation, financial services or private wealth industry are preferred.
• Industry knowledge helpful in Treasury/Cash Management, Partnership Accounting, Fund and Investment Accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with overall financial aptitude.
• Ability to effectively communicate and compile data into clear reports.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
• Ability to interact with clients and advisors in a professional and discrete manner.
