A Day In The Life Of A Receptionist As a receptionist, you are the face of the clinic as the first person to greet patients as they arrive. Your primary responsibilities are to warmly welcome patients and initiate the intake process, check out patients and help with follow-up actions, and speak with people on the phone to set up appointments, referrals, and more. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred Experience in medical office would be a plus. Are you good at working with people, do you enjoy a fast-paced work day, and do you work well with modern computer systems? Do you have good analytical and decision-making skills?
