Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist II to provide engineering, sales, and technical support for electrophysiology products in the cardiac care space. The role involves direct engagement with physicians and healthcare professionals, training delivery, and clinical case coverage across the region.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for EP products to physicians and healthcare professionals
- Develop, lead, and facilitate training programs on electrophysiology products for healthcare professionals
- Serve as clinical interface between the medical community and business, building credible relationships
- Deliver regional EP procedural case coverage and support sales representatives with demonstrations and training
- Gather market feedback and provide insights to management on next-generation product development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
- Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in cardiac pacing or related industries
- Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac electrophysiology procedures
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems and familiarity with catheterization lab and operating room procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to develop presentation materials
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously
