About the Position

We are seeking a Radiation Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Orangeburg, South Carolina . The physician will provide radiation oncology coverage as the sole provider while on shift, with no call requirement. This assignment is focused exclusively on the Orangeburg location.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Radiation Oncology services during scheduled coverage
• Evaluate & manage oncology patients
• Provide appropriate radiation treatment planning & clinical management
• Work independently as the sole provider while on shift
• Collaborate with the healthcare team as needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Utilize the Epic EMR
• Complete required hospital modules & Epic training

Requirements

• MD/DO degree
• Fellowship in Radiation Oncology required
• Board Certification required
• Board Eligible candidates must meet applicable eligibility requirements
• Active South Carolina medical license required
• Must have prior Epic experience
• Comfortable working independently
• Prior travel experience not required

Working Hours

• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No call
• Sole provider while on shift
• Coverage dates include:
• October 28–30, 2026
• November 2–3, 2026
• December 28–31, 2026
• Additional scheduling may be available based on client needs
