About the Opportunity This position is designed for someone who already has a solid foundation in wealth management and is ready to accelerate their career. You’ll work directly alongside the firm's Managing Partner, participate in client meetings, prepare comprehensive financial plans, coordinate planning recommendations, and gradually assume greater client-facing responsibility over time. As you grow within the firm, you'll have the opportunity to assume increasing responsibility for existing client relationships while developing into a trusted Lead Advisor. This is a long-term career opportunity, not simply another advisory position. Responsibilities Participate in client meetings alongside the Lead Advisor. Prepare and update comprehensive financial plans. Conduct retirement, tax, investment, insurance, and estate planning analysis. Coordinate implementation of planning recommendations. Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the planning process. Prepare meeting agendas, meeting summaries, and client follow-up action items. Collaborate with attorneys, CPAs, insurance professionals, and other trusted advisors. Assist with investment implementation and portfolio reviews. Take ownership of assigned client relationships, projects, and follow-up items. Continue developing technical planning expertise while strengthening presentation and relationship management skills. Want to build a meaningful career, not simply find another job. Required Qualifications: Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent). Active Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain shortly after hire). Minimum of two years of wealth management or comprehensive financial planning experience. Actively pursuing the CFP® certification or recently passed the CFP® examination. Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning concepts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. Ability to work full-time in our Charleston, South Carolina office. Preferred: Experience using planning and portfolio management platforms Experience using industry CRM platforms Experience working within an independent RIA or comprehensive financial planning practice.
