Work Environment

The urgent care facility operates onsite at our outpatient office, providing a structured yet dynamic work environment where collaboration and communication are essential. Our clinic's hours are Monday to Friday, with potential shifts running from 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm. This setting allows for a balance between efficiency and individual patient interactions, as we prioritize both high-quality care and accessibility for our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations of patients presenting with a range of acute, chronic, and episodic health concerns.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans that incorporate patient history, current clinical guidelines, and evidence-based practices.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to facilitate accurate diagnoses and effective treatment strategies.
• Prescribe necessary medications and treatments, managing ongoing patient care and medication adjustments as needed.
• Document all patient interactions, medical histories, and treatments meticulously to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to coordinate referrals and optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in regular communication with collaborating physicians and specialists to discuss complex cases and seek guidance when necessary.

The Nurse Practitioner will serve a broad demographic of patients, including children and adults, from various backgrounds and with varying medical needs. This position involves treating acute injuries, managing chronic illnesses, and addressing urgent health concerns in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner focus.
• An active New York state Nurse Practitioner license.

Compensation and Benefits
