JOB SUMMARY

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino. The annual pay for this position is $47,500.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation, and open communication. Acts as a role model and coaches while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations. Sets and monitors the pace of the team while performing table game and slot drops. Participates in the hiring process. Works closely with Manager on disciplinary matters. Responsible for supervision and training of staff on designated shift. Reports any issues to Manager regarding counting, recording of currency, overall operation, maintenance of the count room, and currency counting equipment. Ensures compliance with State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls and Company Policies & Procedures during shift. Some on‑call requirements for this role. Promotes outstanding customer relations. Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team. Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

One (1) year experience in a Count Room or high‑volume money handling environment. Previous Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co‑workers, and management. Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to lift forty (40) lbs. without difficulty, repeatedly. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty. Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
