About the Role
The Company is seeking a President for its Foundation in the Flathead Valley region. This key leadership role is focused on driving philanthropic strategy and fundraising efforts to support the mission of the medical center and a network of critical access hospitals, clinics, and care sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for championing a culture of philanthropy, developing and executing annual and long-term fundraising strategies, and ensuring the Foundation's activities align with the organization's strategic priorities. The President will also serve as the public face of the Foundation, engaging with donors, corporations, volunteers, and community stakeholders, and will be expected to bring a proven track record in leading comprehensive campaigns, securing transformational gifts, and building high-performing development teams. The ideal candidate for the President of the Foundation will be a collaborative and emotionally intelligent leader with a strong background in guiding healthcare or complex nonprofit organizations. They should possess excellent business acumen, strategic planning capabilities, and financial management expertise, and have a passion for advancing mission-driven organizations through philanthropy. This is a pivotal moment for the organization, and the role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare philanthropy in the region. The candidate should be prepared to work closely with regional leadership and the Foundation Board, and be committed to the values of inclusivity, kindness, and courage in their professional endeavors.
