Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office in Jacksonville, where you will engage with patients one-on-one to assess their needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Our clinic provides a welcoming environment that emphasizes teamwork and patient-centric care. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a stable work-life balance while ensuring you can dedicate ample time to assist our patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations, developing customized treatment plans for patients experiencing functional limitations and disabilities.

• Stay current with state practice acts and ensure compliance with local regulations that govern the practice of physical therapy.

• Perform detailed assessments, document relevant patient history, and establish recommendations based on evaluation findings.

• Implement treatment protocols that align with patient presentations and adapt to the evolving healthcare landscape.

• Consult with multidisciplinary team members as needed, observing and documenting any modifications in patients' conditions to adjust care plans accordingly.

• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions while ensuring a seamless transition out of therapy.

• Complete all required corporate and clinical training, remaining compliant with state and federal regulations.

• Deliver treatments efficiently and compassionately while maximizing departmental productivity and maintaining high-quality patient care standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, collaborating to eliminate barriers to care and striving to enhance patient access to therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain, and athletes aiming to improve performance. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited PT program.

• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

• Current certification in CPR, ensuring patient safety and adherence to emergency protocols.

• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to build rapport and trust with patients and colleagues alike.
