Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Valleywise, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to enhance recovery across specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Provide hands-on care and therapeutic interventions to help patients regain mobility and strength, using evidence-based methodologies.
• Utilize advanced communication skills to effectively educate and empower patients and their families regarding treatment protocols and post-care strategies.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to leverage resources and expertise for optimal patient outcomes.
• Strive to meet established goals for patient utilization and effectiveness, contributing to the clinic's overall success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient base will be diverse, ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients navigating post-surgery rehabilitation. Each day presents unique challenges and success stories, as you assist individuals in achieving their personal health goals through tailored, attentive care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Florida, alongside certification from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various treatment methodologies.
• Valid CPR certification and proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
