Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Jacksonville, Florida, our outpatient office provides a welcoming environment where patients feel respected and encouraged. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, fostering a healthy work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the objectives and specific requirements of each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques to administer effective, cost-efficient treatments that improve patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Guide patients through exercise programs, ensuring proper form and technique to maximize recovery while minimizing injury.
• Document patient progress accurately within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically WebPT.
• Maintain a patient load of one-on-one sessions per hour to provide focused care and attention.
• Regularly collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Monitor patient outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on progression.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle among patients by incorporating strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination training into care plans.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment to optimize their rehabilitation experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Radiance Physical Therapy, you will predominantly work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and those seeking preventive care. Your personalized approach will play a critical role in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree (MPT or DPT) is highly preferred.
• Active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Strong familiarity and experience with EMR software, particularly utilizing WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is strongly preferred, providing insight into patient needs and treatment expectations.
• Experience designing and implementing therapeutic exercise programs.

Compensation and Benefits
