A full-time, onsite Pharmacy Supervisor position is available in an animal health compounding pharmacy located in Bakersfield, CA. This role involves leading and developing a team of pharmacists who specialize in producing high-quality compounded preparations, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and compliance with regulatory standards is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of pharmacists, setting clear productivity and quality goals
• Oversee daily compounding operations and workflow management
• Ensure adherence to USP standards, state regulations, and compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate training documentation and enforce proper compounding procedures
• Assist in drug selection for dispensing and compounding purposes
• Identify opportunities for process and formulation improvements
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and interdepartmental teams
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all company policies and federal/state laws

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current California Pharmacist license in good standing
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
• 2+ years of management experience in a pharmacy laboratory setting
• 2–5 years of compounding pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of USP <795> , <797> , <800> , State Board regulations, and 503A requirements
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM

Location:

• Bakersfield, California

This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive base salary between $160,000 and $185,000 plus bonus eligibility based on experience, along with benefits eligibility.
