Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Dallas, DFW Benefits $1,000 per secured contract Additional percentage of profit for up to 1 year per client Background: Healthcare Sales, Business Development, Community Relations, Healthcare Transportation AWT is looking for a Healthcare Business Development Manager to drive growth by establishing strategic partnerships with healthcare facilities and referral sources throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This opportunity is best suited for a proactive professional with healthcare industry experience, strong networking abilities, and a proven track record of generating business through relationship-building and contract acquisition. Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, dialysis clinics, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare organizations. Identify and engage key decision-makers, including discharge planners, case managers, social workers, facility administrators, and care coordinators. Generate new business opportunities and secure transportation service agreements for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services. Conduct outreach through networking, referrals, community engagement, and direct relationship development. Present AWT’s transportation solutions to healthcare providers and referral partners. Negotiate partnership agreements and successfully close new contracts. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing service support. Track business development activities and maintain an organized sales pipeline. Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for expansion and revenue growth. Represent AWT at healthcare networking events, industry functions, and community outreach initiatives. Develop opportunities with corporate organizations and additional referral sources where appropriate. Meet and exceed established business development goals. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare business development, healthcare sales, medical outreach, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to secure contracts, referral partnerships, or business relationships. Existing healthcare industry connections and relationships are strongly preferred. Experience in positions such as Clinical Liaison, Community Liaison, Medical Sales Representative, Healthcare Account Executive, Admissions Coordinator, Hospital Outreach Coordinator, or similar roles. Strong understanding of healthcare operations, patient referrals, discharge planning, and care coordination. Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills. Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Previous experience in NEMT, healthcare transportation, logistics, or related industries is a plus.
