Indoor Playground with thematic and science activity center is hiring activities leaders!
As-Needed/Part-time/Full-time
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working with children under age of 7
- Understanding varied needs of children and their families
- Understanding the issues involved in the delivery of quality play care and activities
- Understanding the issues of equal opportunities
- Providing safe and creative play experiences
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Food Hygiene, First Aid and relevant qualifications is preferred
- MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
Job Descriptions:
Description of the job includes but not limited to planning, organizing, and implementing activities for children under age of 7.
- Cleaning and preparing for the next activities and weekly thematic events.
- Greeting customers
- Administration work, juggling schedules, and answering calls.
- Assist with check-ins and check-outs
- Engage children and make the environment enjoyable for all parents and children participants.
- Ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
- Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
- Working within the framework of the company's policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that all activities, equipment and the setting are safe
- Packing away the equipment used in the session and cleaning the area and kitchen.
- Kit/Equipment maintenance and safety checks.
- Actively contribute to the reviews and appraisals systems for own development
- Setting up play space involving moving children's furniture and play equipment.
- Report any problems which arise with participants, other employees, or parents to the manager
