Staff Security Engineer

Leading the planning and execution of Product Security initiatives, the full-time remote Staff Security Engineer, Proactive Security will own the technical direction for the Dasher Logistics vertical, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and mitigate vulnerabilities. Key responsibilities Set and manage strategic roadmaps for security initiatives, ensuring integration into DoorDash's platform Conduct application security assessments and manage the lifecycle of vulnerabilities from identification to remediation Advise and mentor security engineers while developing solutions for complex security challenges impacting DoorDash products Required qualifications 10+ years of experience as a Product Security Engineer with a strong software engineering background Proven experience in providing technical leadership and collaborating with global teams across diverse product portfolios Expertise in authorization and authentication frameworks, with hands-on experience in securing microservices Familiarity with OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities and experience in analyzing code and architecture from a security perspective Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java or Golang
