What does this role look like? Supply Chain’s vision is to enable customer and mission success through supply chain strategies and execution that deliver superior operational program performance and create competitive advantage through continuous improvement. It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance throughout the program life‑cycle from capture to sustainment. Daily Key Responsibilities Drive all aspects of major subcontract execution (cost, schedule, technical, quality) and fully integrate the subcontract work scope within the program, including proposals, negotiations, contract execution, etc. Ensure seamless integration of Subcontracts, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Planning organizations. Work closely with the Subcontract Manager (SCM) and SCA teams. Serve as the main focal point to the subcontractor and be accountable to both the Program Manager and Supply Chain leadership. Act as the Lockheed Martin and Program Management interface with the supplier, critically analyzing a diverse set of issues and communicating effectively to customer, LM, and supplier executive leadership. Travel frequently to major subcontractor sites (anticipated approximately 25%). This position does not support teleworking. The preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in King of Prussia, PA and be expected to work in the office. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management, including procurement, subcontract administration, subcontract management, negotiation, proposal, program management, and/or category management. Experience establishing scope of work and writing technical or non‑technical documentation such as specifications, statements of work, contracts/subcontracts, and supplier deliverables. Experience supporting all subcontract types (cost‑reimbursable, time & material, fixed price), negotiations, terms and conditions, incentive arrangements, and order placement. Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs). Ability to travel, possibly up to 10‑15%. US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance. Successfully pass a drug and background check to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Desired Skills 5+ years of relevant subcontract program management experience. Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Tableau or equivalent. Experience with Control Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM). Program Management training. Experience supporting both development and production prime contracts, including proposal submittals. Experience transitioning products from development to production. Familiarity with supplier quality and related evaluation tools. Effective relationship‑building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers. Positive and enthusiastic approach to collaborative projects. Exceptional strategic communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, and to persuade and motivate action.
