About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Sales to spearhead the growth and development of its enterprise sales organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives and BDRs in the sale of the company's AI-powered learning platform to senior academic leaders in the higher education sector. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of the platform and requires a strong focus on building and scaling the sales team, as well as establishing the necessary systems and processes for predictable, repeatable growth. The ideal candidate will have a background in EdTech sales, with a proven track record of success in this space, particularly in selling to senior academic leadership. Key responsibilities for the Head of Sales include owning revenue outcomes, creating and implementing a sales playbook, and ensuring the team is equipped with the operational rigor needed to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals. The role demands a leader with deep experience in higher education sales, a strong ability to meet or exceed revenue targets, and expertise in forecasting and pipeline management. Experience in selling AI, analytics, or learning-technology platforms, especially in a Series A-B environment, is highly valued. The company is looking for a candidate who is not only a strategic thinker but also a hands-on builder, with a genuine passion for improving outcomes in the higher education sector.
