Account Executive - Legal

(this is for a RevPilots' client) Role Title: Business Development Director AKA Account Executive Our client is SaaS-based intelligence platform that delivers real-time, insider news and analysis on energy-infrastructure and renewable-power projects for investors, developers, and industry operators. Objective of Role: To drive our client's revenue growth by acquiring new clients, expanding the client base, and enhancing existing client relationships, leveraging a proactive sales approach and industry knowledge. Responsibilities: Prospecting and Outreach: Identify potential clients and conduct outreach through various channels, including cold calling, emails, and social media. Presentations and Demonstrations: Effectively present our client's platform, showcasing its features and benefits to potential clients. Needs Analysis and Solution Selling: Understand client needs and develop tailored proposals, solutions, and competitive analysis to address pain points and demonstrate the value of our client's offerings. Negotiation and Closing Deals: Lead contract negotiations and secure new business deals. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospective clients with emphasis on listening and follow-through to ensure long-term commitment, satisfaction, and growth. Market Research and Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine sales strategies. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, editorial, research, sales operations, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless sales process. Product and Client Champion: Act as the go-to product expert and advocate for clients, gathering feedback to enhance our client's service offerings. Specific Sales Experience - REQUIRED: Selling to Advisors & consultants - Legal, financial, Big 4, consultants Selling to EPC's & technical advisors - construction firm Accountabilities: Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed sales targets through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. Client Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention, ensuring that services meet their needs and add value. Sales Process Efficiency: Streamline the sales process, ensuring timely and effective communication and handoffs between departments. Team Collaboration: Work effectively within cross-functional teams to drive business development initiatives. Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of full cycle sales experience in a B2B sales role Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Prior experience with HubSpot or similar CRM preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to pick up new systems and software easily Hunters with experience successfully selling comparable products True hunter mentality - yo actively generate your own pipeline and don't rely on inbound leads alone Experience selling to developers, solutions providers, utilities, or financial services strongly preferred Experience selling into trading/commodity shops and hedge funds in a pure hunting role SaaS or technology sales background preferred; experience with complex, consultative sales cycles a strong plus Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a new business or expansion role Comfortable running the full sales motion: outbound prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings, conferences, or team events as needed Location: Remote - USA Compensation: Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 Base Salary | OTE $150,000 - $240,000 Why Our Client?
