DSHS's Home & Community Living Administration (HCLA) WCF is hiring key team members now to assist as we move toward the full implementation of the program. The Provider Network Navigator serves as a designated specialist for the determination of provider eligibility for the delivery of social and medical long term care services to eligible beneficiaries, in addition to the training of staff who conduct client/beneficiary eligibility assessments, advising providers who deliver services to those clients. The position is responsible for the monitoring of Network of Care Providers, and that the staff processes are meeting state and federal policies and regulations.

This position will conduct monitoring and quality assurance audits and reviews responses to quality assurance audits, as necessitated by legal, statutory, or legislative requirements. The incumbent will be required to create, present, assist with implementation, and monitor progress of provider corrective action plans.

Location: The Provider Network Navigator can be located in any of the following counties: Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan, Snohomish, King. This position currently has approval to work a flexible/hybrid schedule, as business needs allow. Travel regionally and statewide is required based on business and training needs. Snohomish County employees are eligible to receive an Orca Card for transportation needs. King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use.

Some of what you'll do:

• Performing outreach to contracted providers to notify them of outstanding compliance issues as a result of monitoring and audits.
• Participates in statewide scheduled monthly case management meetings to collaborate with other navigators.
• Review provider application materials and determine eligibility
• Assists Administrator and Other Staff Interpreting Policies, and Procedures; Obtains Clarification from Policy Staff Regarding the Registration Process as Needed.
• Approve provider registration and licensing
• Facilitate provider application, contracting, and licensing.
• Research and develop connections with regional providers, employers, community-based organizations, agencies, tribes, and other business partners.
• Coordinate and deliver training to staff and providers on various subjects (e.g. registration, contracting, ProviderOne, and Quality Assurance Audits/Monitoring)

Who should apply? Professionals who meet one of the following qualifications:

• One year of experience as a Social and Health Program Consultant 3 or equivalent. OR
• Two years of experience as a Social and Health Program Consultant 2 or equivalent. OR
• A master's degree in social work*, health or social science, public administration, or a related field AND four years of professional experience planning, administering, developing, or delivering social, financial, health, or chemical dependency treatment services programs. OR
• A bachelor's degree in social work*, health or social science, public administration, or a related field AND five years of professional experience planning, administering, developing, or delivering social, financial, health, or chemical dependency treatment services programs. OR
• A combination of education and professional experience totaling at least nine years.
