Description - Your Role in the Lab

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Ensure accuracy by analyzing results, troubleshooting any discrepancies, and performing maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for subsequent analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new personnel or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related healthcare field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Expectations

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain an active certification throughout employment.
