LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring a Plant Manager to lead daily operations and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. This position is ideal for an applicant who is fluent in both English and Spanish with at least 8 years of manufacturing leadership experience. This role is in Oak Lawn, IL and the anticipated salary is $120,000 -$130,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

· Lead daily operations in a food manufacturing and distribution facility, including manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, and receiving

· Ensure employees are engaged and aligned with daily safety, quality and operational goals

· Drive process and performance improvements

· Develop teams through coaching, training, and feedback

· Identify risks and operational issues and develop solutions through root cause analysis rather than temporary fixes

· Maintain and continuously improve the food safety system, and ensure SQF requirements are understood

· Ensure inventory accuracy

· Make operational decisions using data, experience, and sound judgment

· Maintain an audit-ready culture and lead corrective actions from audits, internal findings, and process failures

Qualifications:

· Bilingual English/Spanish required

· Minimum 8 years of manufacturing leadership experience, with 5+ years of food manufacturing leadership experience

· SQF experience required

· Thorough understanding of SQF requirements, traceability systems, GMPs, HACCP, Preventative Controls, and food safety programs

· Proven leadership experience, including developing teams, creating structure, and making sound operational decisions

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Previous experience improving operations through process improvement, employee development, and effective use of existing resources

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
