Exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students as a Special Education teacher. This full-time, onsite contract role offers the chance to work collaboratively in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment near Broomfield, CO. The assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027, at Manhattan Middle School, supporting a class of 10 students alongside dedicated paraeducators and professionals.

In this role, you’ll be part of a close-knit team, providing high-quality special education services and fostering a welcoming, inclusive classroom setting. Your expertise, creativity, and flexibility will help each student succeed, working hand-in-hand with peer mentors, BCBA, speech-language pathologist, occupational and physical therapists, as well as school psychologists and social workers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of classroom experience required
• Must have an active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or be in the process (must provide documentation for interview consideration; TEE not accepted)
• Strong team player with a flexible, collaborative approach
• Passion for working with students in special education settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to a classroom of 10 students, adapting strategies to diverse learning needs
• Work closely with paraeducators and support staff to ensure an effective and positive learning environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and evaluation of student plans
• Foster peer mentoring relationships within the classroom
• Collaborate regularly with therapists, psychologists, and social workers to provide holistic support
