Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Naperville, IL
$55 - $60 per hourSoliant Health
Make a significant impact as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist working with students in a self-contained autism program, serving ages Early Childhood through grade 5. For the 2025-2026 school year, you'll collaborate within a supportive educational setting, providing essential speech and language services to help students achieve their communication goals.
This is a full-time, contract opportunity averaging 35 hours per week. You'll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialized support to a unique student population. Your experience will foster growth and learning, allowing each child to reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
- Active State of Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license from IDFPR
- ISBE Professional Educator License as required for school-based SLPs ( see more )
- Experience or interest in working with children with autism, ages Early Childhood through grade 5
- Accepting SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY applicants
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability to work in a self-contained educational environment
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate and timely records
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing student progress monitoring
