Food & Beverage Supervisor

Description

The Hilton Charlotte University Place is hiring a hotel food and beverage (F&B) supervisor oversees daily dining, bar, and banquet operations to ensure high guest satisfaction, staff efficiency, and compliance with safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate team members. Lead daily pre-meal meetings.
• Guest Service: Monitor the dining room, welcome and seat guests, and handle complaints or special dietary requests.
• Operations: Supervise opening and closing duties, manage inventory, and order supplies. Step in to help with serving, bartending, or cooking when short-staffed.
• Quality & Safety: Enforce health, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness laws. Inspect staff grooming and table cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of F&B or hospitality experience, with prior leadership or supervisory background preferred.
• Education: High school diploma; a degree or diploma in hotel management or hospitality is an asset.
• Skills: Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and basic math or budgeting knowledge.
• Certifications: Valid local alcohol service certification (such as ServSafe or local equivalents) and food safety training.
