Staffing Coordinator

Our Skilled Nursing Facility, located near Matteson, IL is seeking a staffing coordinator who is self-motivated, has previous experience, is organized, and has excellent communication skills. The staffing coordinator will assist us in achieving our mission of growing a quality-oriented and employee-friendly organization. Staffing Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities: Schedule facility staff at appropriate levels as determined by the Director of Nursing (DON) Prepare shift schedules and clearly communicate assignments to staff Ensure compliance with state staffing requirements and forecast future staffing needs Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward residents and staff Assist in emergency evacuations as needed Demonstrate dependability and regular attendance Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, and reach intermittently during work hours Staffing Coordinator Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required Prior staff scheduling experience in healthcare preferred Basic computer skills Strong understanding of nursing staffing needs and forecasting Ability to make independent decisions when necessary Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and guidelines Ability to implement and interpret department policies and procedures Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Must be able and willing to work as a CNA when short-staffed Benefits: We offera competitive salary and excellent benefits package. #J-18808-Ljbffr Healthcare Facility
