Tech EMT/Paramedic

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Respond quickly to emergency calls and perform critical medical interventions on scene and during transport.
  
  
• 
  Assess patient conditions, establish priorities, and provide appropriate care according to protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with hospital staff, including nurses and physicians, to ensure seamless patient care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and operate emergency medical equipment, including Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital policies, including safety, PPE, and proper documentation standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a valid EMT license with at least 2 years of experience in a high-volume ED or trauma center.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in advanced emergency procedures and equipment.
  
  
• 
  Have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications before start date.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong teamwork skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in diverse clinical environments.
  
  
• 
  Show excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
