Calibration/Metrology Tech III

Medtronic seeks a Calibration/Metrology Technician III to perform calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of measurement and test equipment in a regulated manufacturing facility located in Puerto Rico. The role ensures equipment accuracy, reliability, and compliance with quality standards while supporting manufacturing and engineering operations.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate electronic test and measurement equipment according to established standards and procedures
- Test, adjust, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on electromechanical and mechanical instruments
- Diagnose equipment performance issues and execute repairs, component replacements, and adjustments
- Document calibration records and investigate out-of-tolerance conditions for corrective action
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to support production objectives and equipment reliability
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant technical experience in calibration, instrumentation, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge and established procedures effectively
- Strong technical aptitude with attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Knowledge of electronic test and measurement equipment calibration standards
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Associate degree in instrumentation, electronics, or related technical discipline preferred
