Job Title: Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatric Emergency Department Duration: 9 months Shift: 12-hour Day/Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years full-time or 3 years part-time experience in an acute care setting, with recent pediatric experience required License: Registered Nurse License required Certifications: TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS required Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations - Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety - Proven track record of commitment, with the ability to sustain employment for a minimum of two years Description: We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to infants, children, and young adults in urgent medical need. The RN will deliver knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination to all patients in accordance with hospital policies, standards, and philosophy. This position includes providing professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The incumbent will utilize the concepts of Patient Centered Care to provide the foundation for all nursing care. Additionally, the RN will demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
