Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Pediatric ICU Nurse!

Job Description:


- Join a high-acuity, fast-paced ICU with a focus on pediatrics!
- Work an energizing night shift from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.
- Experience a 1:1 and 1:2 patient ratio for ICU status, ensuring quality care.
- Contribute to a dynamic environment with a 24-bed pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Manage cases in neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical, and medical ICU settings.
- Be prepared to float to various areas, including CVICU and NICU North Campus.
- Enjoy the freedom to wear navy scrubs with pediatric print tops allowed!
- Required certifications include BLS and PALS with a minimum of 2 years in specialty.
- Contract spans 36-48 hours per week over a 90-week term.


Requirements:


- Valid nursing license with necessary verification.
- Complete the following onboarding requirements:
- Ascension Specialty Exam
- Ascension Core Competencies
- Ascension EKG Exam
- Ascension Nova StatStrip
- Ascension Badge Photo
- MMR vaccination
- Fit Test
- Hepatitis B vaccination
- Influenza vaccination
- Negative chest X-ray for positive PPD
- Health statement
- Varicella vaccination
- Tdap vaccination
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA test (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Provide references and pass a criminal background check.
