Robert Half is assisting a client in hiring a Bookkeeper. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can work independently with confidence and has experience in both Accounts Payable and Receivable.
Onsite Mon-Fri 9-5PM
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis
- Manage general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies or concerns
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Coordinate with external accountants for tax preparation and audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Have deep understanding of the general ledger, revenue and expense accounts, and how they relate to each other
