Property Accountant

The role is responsible for processing, including reviewing, verifying, and reconciling a variety of transactions.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduction and distribution of monthly client financialsReviewing and posting all GPR functionsVerification or all receivable and payable data processedCalculation and processing of owner distributionsPosting and processing of property management feesMaintain property balance sheetsResearching and answer Portfolio Managers or Clients questions regarding tenant statements or financial reportsReviews, approves, and enters journal entriesEnsure accuracy of all general ledger information and account balancesCurrent/Retained EarningsOversee accounts to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timelinessBanking set up for onboarding and offboarding of propertiesAdjustments and corrections for batches within Yardi/Rent CafPosting AJEs for closing statementsPosting YE CPA adjustmentsWork closely with 3rd party auditor to help prepare bank recs, reviewing and correcting variancesOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, strongly preferred2+ years' experience with full cycle accounting, requiredExperience in multi entity, strongly preferredTo thrive in this role, you must be a detailed oriented individual with a proven track record of accuracy and process improvementOrganized and professional with excellent communication skillsMicrosoft Office experience requiredSolution based thinking in a fast paced environmentExperience with Yardi Voyager, Payscan, and Yardi BillPay preferredCompensation Package$70,000 - $90,000 base salary, depending on experience2 weeks of Paid Time Off to start9 Paid Holidays, including your birthday401k - 100% vested after 90 days, up to a 4% match of gross salaryMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (90% paid by Cornerstone), Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital, and Life InsuranceWork-Life BalanceMonthly employee appreciation events and outings, to include sports leagues, Rockies games, company lunches, a Halloween bash, holiday party, and an annual department retreat to the mountains...
