NA Shared Services Payroll Associate

About the Role We are looking for a Payroll Associate to prepare, process and distribute North American payroll across bi‑weekly, semi‑monthly, monthly, and off‑cycle periods. The Payroll Associate also responds to payroll questions assigned through the HR inquiry management process. Key Responsibilities Process wage withholding orders for all North America, including responding to subpoenas, orders, and entering the payroll system. Research and answer questions assigned through the HR inquiry management process. Partner with HR field staff and specialists to ensure accurate payroll preparation, audit, and distribution. Review payroll data, run payroll, audit results, correct errors, and distribute payroll for 6,000+ employees. Perform payroll funding, distribution of court‑ordered deductions, withholding tax, and review interfaces to Mosaic applications or third parties. Ensure payroll compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and SOX/internal controls. Perform other duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager. Qualifications High School/GED required. College degree or Payroll certification preferred. 2+ years of relevant payroll experience required (US and Canada experience preferred). Experience with Workday and/or ServiceNow, Kronos (or similar time‑keeping system). Garnishment experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, comparisons). Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation. Customer Service skills.
