The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and health during each visit and will be responsible for performing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient care. -Associate degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited institution -Active dental hygiene license in the state of South Dakota -Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools. -Perform infection control procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment. -Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations. -Review and document patient medical histories, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. -Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing care tailored to younger patients. -Utilize and be proficient in Eaglesoft software for patient documentation and record management. -Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize infection risks. -Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care including treatment plans for restorative care.
