Schedule: 1.0 FTE; exact shift details depend on scheduling needs. Pediatric clinic is open 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• AK License required at time of submittal
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• CCC-SLP certification
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Pediatric and outpatient experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and evaluation of patients to establish therapy diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Implement and modify therapy plans based on patient responses to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately.
• Educate patients and families on therapy procedures and provide home exercise programs for independent care.
• Participate in community service programs and home assessments, ensuring that therapy plans are implemented effectively in various settings.
• Stay current with professional development and adhere to appropriate regulatory and practice standards.

• Services may be provided in various settings, including in-patient, out-patient, home visits, and community events.
